Classes To-Be-Determined

The Southern Colorado Kennel Club offers public sessions of dog training classes throughout the year at our training facility, 715 North Grand, Pueblo, 81003. Obedience classes are a great way to start training your new puppy or adult dog. We also offer competitive training for AKC events to the competitor that wants that winning edge.

You can register for a particular “course” class on the first night of which ever class you would like to attend. Drop-In classes are “come as you please”. Click the “Click Here for Classes Offered” above to see what classes are currently being taught.

There is generous off-street parking west of the building with a west entrance.

Various classes and times are offered for everyone’s convenience. Not all classes are available during the time slots. Please pick the best ones for you.

Check back often! Classes change all the time and class cancellations are posted here as well.

These are some of the types of classes that we offer:

1. Puppy Kindergarten–socialization and obedience for puppies from 2-5 months
2. Beginners Obedience–for older puppies and adult dogs
3. Intermediate Obedience–for dogs and trainers that have completed a beginner class
4. Advanced Obedience–additional practice and skills for competition–dogs must be able to retrieve for this class
5. Rally Obedience–teaching skills to compete in the newest AKC competition
6. Conformation–handling for the show ring
7. Therapy Dog–training for therapy dog certification, to visit nursing homes, hospitals, etc.
8. Agility for Fun–non-competition training

Instructors are Southern Colorado Kennel Club members who have experience in training or trialing their own dogs. Come join the fun!
