ToGoRun | Published on 5/18/2022

What: Join Us for National Canine Cancer Awareness Day on May 23rd at 12:30-2:30 ET via Facebook live-stream

Who: You and your furry canine family and friends are invited to celebrate the launch of the first canine cancer registry to stop canine cancer! A free public event with Broadway musical performances by special guests and celebrities.

Learn More: Presented by Take C.H.A.R.G.E. (Canine Health AnReGistry Exchange) The campaign to raise awareness of the rising prevalence and incidence of canine cancer. Together we are embarking on a journey to bring academic, research, policy, veterinary communities, and the public together to heighten the need for canine cancer research.

Why: The U.S. is lacking in canine cancer awareness and education for pet parents, and canine cancer treatment innovation to put an end to the disease that impacts over 25% of all canines. Therefore, May 23rd is dedicated to raising awareness of the rise in canine cancer and the first-of-its-kind National Canine Cancer Registry and Cancer Care Index that will provide the veterinary community and canine pet owners with important incidence and prevalence data to guide canine cancer diagnosis and treatment decisions that will bring us one step closer to improving canine cancer care and building a community of hope for all dog lovers. The data may also provide insights to help better understand cancer in humans.

When: Bring your pup and join us on Monday, 5/23, from 12:30-2:30 p.m. ET

Where: Madison Square Park in NYC or virtually

If you don't live in NYC, you can tune in virtually! We'll be live-streaming the event here on our page.
