Southern Colorado Kennel Club Training Classes

The Southern Colorado Kennel Club offers public sessions of dog training classes throughout the year at our training facility, 715 North Grand, Pueblo, 81003. There is generous off-street parking west of the building with a west entrance.

Our instructors are Southern Colorado Kennel Club members with experience in training and trialing their own dogs who have volunteered to share their knowledge and experience.

Every dog, purebred or rescue, benefits from training. Obedience classes are a great way to start training your new puppy or adult dog. And when you and your dog have mastered basic obedience commands, it is easy, and fun to move into active sports like agility, rally or scent work. Activities with your dog provide the dog with necessary exercise and mental challenge and strengthens the bond between the two of you. We also offer competitive training for AKC events to the competitor that wants that winning edge.

Come join the fun!

We require pre-registration for all classes, to avoid over-crowding. As demand warrants, a second class may be offered at a different time and day to cover overloads.

Proof of a current Rabies vaccination from a AVMA certified veterinarian may be requested by the trainers. A collar tag is NOT proof.

If you are interested in registering for a class, fill out our form, and an instructor will contact you.

These are some of the types of classes that we offer.
Not all of them are available all the time. Check our Event Calendar for current and upcoming classes.
